The Souderton Area High School received notification that it has been re-certified as a National Banner Unified Champion School by Special Olympics!  This year, only 132 high schools throughout the country were recognized as National Banner schools.  Additionally, Souderton was the very first school in the state of Pennsylvania to have ever received this honor in 2017.

Special Olympics Pennsylvania President & CEO, Matthew B. Aaron, stated appreciation for the Unified Champion Schools partnership with Souderton and expressed pride for the values which are embraced every day by our community:  inclusion, respect, understanding, and empowerment. 

Through the uplifting culture promoted by the students and staff at Souderton Area High School, everyone is valued and contributes meaningfully through their unique talents.
