Souderton Area High School's very own assistant principal, Mr. Matthew Haines '93, was honored as a standout assistant principal in a recent article published in K-12 Dive.  Mr. Haines currently serves on the Board of the Indian Valley Education Foundation and has been an integral part of many of SAHS's major projects, most recently including the SASD Greenhouse, the Almac Space, and the redesign of the Souderton Area High School Library.

Matt is deeply committed to Souderton's students. His out-of-the-box thinking and willingness to challenge students to be actively engaged not only in their school but their community as well is paramount to the Souderton experience. 

Matt, and his wife Christa, have 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters.  They reside in Harleysville.
