Jan and Bob (both Class of 1958) met in 11th grade in Miss Gerhart’s typing class in 1956. Jan was struggling with a typing test and since Bob was finished he typed up hers. They both got a 100 on the test and Miss Gerhart praised them both.

After a few weeks, they started dating. They dated all through high school. Jan became head majorette in 12th grade and Bob played some sports. They graduated and continued dating as Jan went to a Beauty school and Bob went to college. In 1960, they got married and now live in Colorado. They have two children, 5 grandchildren and and 5 great grandchildren. This year they will celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary.
