Leslie (Dewey) Gore (Class of 73) met her husband, Pat, in Mr. Godshall’s 6th grade class at Franconia. They hit it off back then, but Leslie moved away in 9th grade and had no idea if she would ever see him again. She moved back for 11th grade, but Pat had moved away.
Cindy Hagey had a party that she invited Leslie to. Turned out that her boyfriend was best friends with Pat and had invited him to the party.
They started dating immediately and were married on March 3, 1973.
So this year, they will have been married 50 years!
